The carry-on-only business trip is entirely doable. Here's how.
The suit or blazer question
Wear it on the plane. A blazer takes up more space than almost anything else in a carry-on, and it travels better on your body than folded in a bag. If you need a full suit, wear the jacket, pack the trousers flat between your packing cubes, and hang them in the hotel closet immediately on arrival. Wrinkles fall out overnight.
Shoes
One pair of dress shoes, worn onto the plane. If you need casual shoes for the evening, a clean leather sneaker doubles as both. Two pairs of shoes on a business trip is almost always one too many.
The tech setup
